Role purposeLead the end to end strategic sourcing and procurement function, ensuring business continuity, supplier performance, cost efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance across all categories, raw materials, packaging, services, and indirect spend within highly regulated environments such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food & beverages.The position plays a key role in driving profitability, sustainability, and competitiveness, leading global sourcing strategies, supplier development initiatives, and digital transformation within the procurement area.Value PropositionThis position requires a global, strategic business leader capable of connecting procurement excellence with innovation, sustainability, and profitability ensuring a high-performing, compliant, and future-ready supply base within a complex and regulated environment.REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, Chemistry, or related fields.MBA or Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Strategic Procurement, Finance, or International Business.Preferred certifications: CIPS, ISM, CPSM, or Lean Six Sigma.Fluent English (C1) required; second language (Portuguese or French) is a plus.Experience10–15 years of progressive experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing roles.Minimum 5 years leading regional or global teams within pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or food & beverage industries.Proven track record in:International negotiation and supplier relationship management.Cost optimization and risk mitigation strategies.Regulatory compliance (GMP, ISO 9001, HACCP, FDA, INVIMA, COFEPRIS).Advanced use of ERP and procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, etc.).Supplier development and ESG compliance initiatives.Core CompetenciesStrategic leadership and global mindsetAdvanced negotiation and stakeholder managementAnalytical thinking and financial acumenResults orientation and cost efficiencyStrong communication and intercultural management skillsInnovation, agility, and data-driven decision-making
