Job SummaryAs a Sourcing Lead - Projects, you will be instrumental in handling the end-to-end sourcing process for various projects within BP. You will tap into your expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationships to deliver value, drive efficiency, and ensure robust project delivery.Job ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for assigned projects, aligning with BP's overall business objectives.Conduct comprehensive market analysis and supplier landscaping to identify optimal sourcing opportunities.Lead the full tender process, including RFP/RFQ development, evaluation, and negotiation, applying strong negotiating skills and negotiation planning and preparation.Draft, review, and finalize complex contracts, ensuring adherence to legal and company requirements (Contract Creation, Contract handover and implementation).Proactively lead supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement in supplier performance (Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Performance Management).Apply Agility core practices and Agility tools to streamline sourcing processes and adapt to changing project needs.Apply strong analytical thinking to evaluate proposals, assess risks, and make data-driven sourcing decisions.Demonstrate strong business sense to understand project requirements and their impact on overall business goals.Ensure rigorous Supplier Selection processes are followed, including due diligence and risk assessments.Leverage Digital Fluency to enhance sourcing efficiency and adopt new technologies.Oversee the effective Contract Management throughout the project lifecycle.Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in any subject area or related fieldThe ideal candidate should have eight (8) to ten (10) years of practical and application in End-to-End sourcing and contracting of services and commodities in energy sector, coupled with a strong commercial competence and communication (verbal and written English language) skills.Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in sourcing and contracting of upstream construction project is desired.Experience working in a large and multi-cultural teamAbility to work on shift hoursBelieve in Agile ways of workingDemonstrated expertise in Sourcing Strategy development and execution.Strong proficiency in Negotiating and Negotiation planning and preparation.Solid experience in Contract Creation, Contract handover and implementation, and Contract Management.Excellent Analytical Thinking and problem-solving skills.Sound Business Sense and understanding of commercial principles.Experience with Supplier Performance Management and Supplier Relationship Management.High level of Digital Proficiency.Ability to work optimally in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment.Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to influence partners at all levels.At bp, we provide the following environment and benefits to you:A company culture where we respect our diverse and unified teams, where we are proud of our achievements and where fun and the demeanor of giving back to our environment are highly valuedPossibility to join our social communities and networksLearning opportunities and other development opportunities to craft your career pathLife and health insurance, medical care packageAnd many other benefits.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
