Job Title – Sourcing SpecialistLocations – Jakarta, IndonesiaRole Summary:As a Sourcing Specialist you will take ownership for the sourcing and buying process. You will provide support to cross-functional teams on a variety of projects that will require your knowledge and contribution. Using your knowledge of the market and vendors, you will build trusted relationships with suppliers and internal teams.Essential Responsibilities: Responsible to source and procure direct and indirect parts and services Managing the purchase operations to ensure purchase orders meet budget, On-Time-Delivery, and productivity targets Managing supplier relationships to understand the business, gather market intelligence, assess risk, and ensure compliance to KPIs Providing guidance to cross-functional teams to support projects, procedures, and processes Overseeing the sourcing and buying process to ensure products are delivered according to quality, specifications, and budgets Create and follow up on Purchase orders. Initiate Requests for quote (RFQs), execute Purchase Orders and perform procurement activities within project requirements, budget, schedule, and in accordance with company procedures. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Solicit and evaluate proposals employing appropriate negotiation, cost and price analysis techniques, using available expertise Exposure to contract management and setting agreements. Manage problems and schedule changes. Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Contributes to project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 monthsQualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, supply chain, commerce or relevant field (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8-10 years of experience in Sourcing).
