In this role, you’ll help ensure a steady supply of high-quality ingredients at optimal cost, support supplier relationships, and drive process improvements that strengthen our sourcing backbone.🧭 What You’ll DoYou’ll be part of a global sourcing team that ensures every ingredient we procure meets our quality, cost, and reliability standards. You will:Support category and supplier management: Identify potential suppliers, assist in contract negotiations, and help secure consistent, high-quality materials.Keep our product catalogue alive: Maintain, update, and organize product data, specifications, and approvals to accelerate deal turnaround and decision-making.Ensure visibility and process consistency: Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while actively contributing ideas to improve sourcing, vendor onboarding, and supplier management processes.Partner across teams: Work closely with Sales, Logistics, FSQA, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations and resolve sourcing bottlenecks quickly.Build supplier partnerships: Participate in supplier evaluations, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with our quality, service, and cost goals.Market Insight: Use data to identify sourcing trends, evaluate supplier performance, and recommend cost-saving or efficiency-boosting initiatives.Act as a trusted backup: Support the Sourcing Manager in decision-making and coordination when needed.🎯 What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone curious, structured, and passionate about building strong supplier relationships and improving systems.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.Experience (or strong interest) in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain operations.Strong analytical and organizational skills — detail-oriented and data-driven.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP or e-procurement tools (experience with Airtable or similar is a plus).A self-starter who takes accountability for results, manages time effectively, and maintains consistent communication in a remote work setting.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.💡 Why Join Source86You’ll be part of a global startup redefining how food moves around the world.
