Your future belongs at the home of the Excellent Chicken…Bell and Evans!JOB SUMMARY: The Sous Chef will be responsible for leading and executing daily kitchen production, preparation, service, safety and sanitation under the direction and guidance of the Executive Chef. Bell & Evans food service programs are a Team Member benefit, and we hold our food quality, ingredients, preparation, and presentation to the highest standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in planning daily / weekly menus. Purchase adequate supply of food, beverage and non-foods from approved vendors as needed. Use and observe HACCP, as well as PA food code for safe food receiving, preparation, holding, serving, cooling, and storage. Supervise kitchen staff, training, and provide feed back / counseling as needed. Balance registers and hand in all receipts with cash to accounting daily. Assist in taking quarterly inventory of all café food, beverage, and non-food products, update pricing and hand in report to accounting. QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 4+ years of kitchen production experience2+ years of progressive responsibility and leadership Excellent knowledge of culinary ingredients and practicesBi-lingual is a plus
