South Africa Wine (the unified representative body for the SA wine and brandy industry) is seeking to fill a key middle management role: Policy, Market Access & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator.This is a fantastic opportunity for a South African professional with 5-8 years of experience to make a significant impact on a vital South African industry.Role: Policy, Market Access & Stakeholder Engagement CoordinatorRemuneration: Market-related. Please share your salary expectations in your application.Reporting to the Manager: Policy, Market Access & Stakeholder Engagement, where you will be responsible for supporting industry advocacy, government liaison, and policy analysis. This rolecombines operational execution with independent responsibility for specific portfolios.Key Responsibilities Include:● Monitoring and analysing policy developments (from liquor policy and excise to logistics and sustainability).● Drafting briefing documents, submissions, and position papers.● Supporting relationship management with government departments and industry partners.● Contributing to domestic and export market access initiatives.We are looking for someone with:● 5-8 years of experience in industry affairs, government relations, or corporate communications.● Essential experience within the agricultural or beverage sectors.● A strong understanding of South African government structures and policy frameworks.● A relevant degree (Public Policy, Political Science, Communications, or Business).● Excellent analytical and communication skills.
