Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicineAbout The RoleThe Regional Business Manager (RBM) role directly supervises ABS within the defined district. The ABS is responsible for providing education to treatment centers. The ABS role will demonstrate REMS operation expertise. The RBM will have a large geography and will need to ensure their team demonstrates strong business acumen and skilled prioritization. The RBM must comply with all corporate policies, SOPs, and applicable federal and state healthcare laws.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and motivate a team of ABS to effectively educate using approved resources to activate REMS certified treatment centers.Develop a successful implementation of a coordinated area business plan with targeted objectives to achieve business results.Provide direction and management oversight to ABS while maintaining expert knowledge of local, regional and national payer policies; reimbursement regulations and processes (i.e., eligibility and benefit verification, pre-authorization, billing, coding, claims, and appeals/grievances); REMs certification; Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations; and state-specific clinical staff licensing / certification requirements for product administration and monitoring.Partner with various support functions within the NS sales team, SCG, PAS, KAMs, Medical Affairs and marketing to compliantly deliver on business goals.Have a strong aptitude for analyzing the business, coaching on approved strategy and messaging, support in developing local market strategies and for achieving business goals to develop team's business and payor acumen.Work closely with direct reports to establish and support career development plansAdhere to all J&Js compliance policies and guidelinesSharing TC insights with brand team to help shape and evolve future strategy.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degreeA valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United StatesA minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of five (5) years of healthcare sales/account management experienceMust live in the geography and/or be willing to relocate to the geographyPreferred QualificationsA minimum of two (2) years of experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic area, must have people leadership experience.
