Join the Clean Energy RevolutionBecome an Agile Project Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll join SCE’s Digital & Business Transformation team within the Information Technology department and help drive innovation. You will spearhead new Artificial Intelligence (AI) product development across multiple agile teams, fostering disruptive innovation through user-centered design and advanced technologies. You will quickly assess team dynamics and guide them from inception to deployment, establishing goals and strategic plans to drive success.

Working closely with Product Owners, Developers, Designers, Business Customers, and IT Stakeholders, you will help navigate undefined processes, influence agile transformation, and seamlessly adapt within a fast-paced environment. Thriving in ambiguity, you will embrace flexibility while taking on challenges head-on, including stepping into Product Owner/Manager roles or other agile leadership positions as needed. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?ResponsibilitiesManages the activities of one or more moderate to large, short to mid-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomesExercises considerable latitude and judgement in developing plans, budgets, and resources, directing activities and actions, and determining deliverableDecides appropriate methods, procedures for new projects with significant independenceEngages with all levels of management and acts as a key consultant for both functional and business issuesManages complex user story decomposition, dependency mapping, and backlog prioritizationAnalyzes velocity trends, quality metrics, and team capacity to forecast release plansDrives process improvements by analyzing sprint metrics and refining ceremonies, workflows, documentation, and toolsImplements Agile software development practices including test-driven development (TDD), pair programming, continuous integration, and refactoringA material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum QualificationsSeven or more years of experience in IT project management.

Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information SystemsExperience managing and de-risking timelines, milestones, deliverables and budgetsThree or more years of experience in technical/ engineering and/or business- related roleThree or more years of experience performing as a Scrum Master in a waterfall and/or agile environmentExperience leading multiple product/project teams in Mobile, AI/ML, or emerging technologies like Smart WearablesExperience interacting regularly with senior managementEstablished project/product objectives with product managerScrum master and/or PMP certificationHands-on experience with agile technologies and tools – Jira/Rally/HP ALM Octane/Confluence/Aha/DevOpsExperience applying Design-thinking principlesExperience developing business plans, objectives and initiatives for the organizationAdditional InformationThis position’s work mode is hybrid.

The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.   Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.   Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
