Digital Publishing Transformation Our client is looking for an XML Specialist to support the modernization of its publishing and content production workflows. The selected candidate will help ensure that all technical documents are accurately structured, semantically consistent, and ready for digital publication, across both Word and XML environments.Main Responsibilities :Process, convert, and validate documents in MS Word and XML ) formatsEnsure semantic accuracy, consistency, and structural quality of contentSupport authors and internal teams in content structuring and XML taggingConduct quality control of XML conversions, identify and correct markup issuesContribute to the development and optimization of XML tools (macros, XSLT, import routines)Maintain and update tagging guidelines and internal documentationHelp align practices between Word and XML workflowsActively participate in the organization’s digital publishing transitionProfile & Skills :Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, and MS WordFamiliarity with NISO STS or similar XML schemas (JATS, DITA, etc.)Experience in technical publishing, documentation, or structured content productionProven ability to perform detailed quality checks on structured contentComfortable with automation tools, macros, and scriptsExcellent communication and training skillsFluent in English (written and spoken)🎓 Degree in Digital Publishing, Technical Communication, or Information Engineering (or equivalent) 💼 At least 3 years of experience in XML-based production or digital publishing
