Here, history and nature will come together to tell a new Aman story, one entwined with the exceptional legacy of Thailand’s revered Nai Lert family.Scope of Work:To provide and maintain the highest standard of personal appearance, hygiene, and customer service, offering quality spa and wellness treatments, providing in-depth knowledge and advice in respect of Spa procedures and products. Spa Therapists are to promote a positive image of the hotel, being pleasant, friendly, and able to address problems or special requests made by guests.Responsibilities and Duties:General:Be on time on shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns.Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests from guests.Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by supervisors.Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.Excellent communication and listening skills.Ensure that all Rules and Regulation of the Section concerned are being adhered to by the guests.Be flexible with their working hours, if necessary, to meet guest requirements.Be responsible for reporting any damage in and around the sections of assignment to your Spa Supervisors.Attend the Daily Briefing to ensure awareness of any information required for the day.Report any issues, whether internal or external that may affect the optimal functioning of the Supervisors. This may range from basic requirements, such as the need for a new light bulb through to personnel issues.Participate in ongoing training as organized by Supervisor to refine and upgrade skills.Being always well-groomed, with clean uniforms, hair neat and off the face.Ensure hygiene standards are always adhered to, including disinfecting any treatment surfaces and equipment between treatments. A thorough cleaning of the Spa and all equipment should be performed at the end of each day.To conduct all treatments professionally. Spa Therapists do not compromise either themselves or Spa by permitting any guest to act improperly. In such situations, the Therapist should politely excuse him/herself from the treatment and advise the Supervisors.Therapists are not permitted, under any circumstances, to solicit or request gratuities in the form of tips or payment in kind. Any gifts offered by clients must be declared to the Asst. Spa Manager or Director of Spa & Wellness.Customer Loyalty:Ensures strong guest recognition within the department.Recording all guest and treatment details for the database.Advise the guest of the sequence of the treatment, explaining treatment and procedures.Prior to treatment, check whether the guest has any allergies or injuries.Assisting guests in selecting their treatment, checking for contraindications, and explaining the treatment requirements or procedures especially if the guest has not had a spa treatment before.Providing guests with high quality service at every stage of their spa experience.Greeting guests in reception.Assisting with post-treatment sales and bookingMake decisions at the guest contact point to delight the guest without forgoing safety.Ensuring personal proficiency in all treatments offered in the menu, including facial massage, body treatments and spa package.Must have a good working knowledge of any packages and all Spa facilities and equipment.Having a good personal knowledge of all skin care, body, and Spa products, and being able to use and prescribe products appropriately.Others:Carries out other special projects / tasks assigned by your superiors.Always challenge yourself to improve procedures for the benefit of the guest in delighting them.Be aware of the latest technology and willing to learn.Qualifications:To obtain a certificate in any Massage Course certified by Ministry of Public Health.Spa therapist license from Ministry of Public HealthBasic Anatomy and Physiology International treatments certification3 years of experiences as a Spa Therapist
