SPA Therapist

Key Competencies:Professional expertise in massage and body therapies.Strong guest service orientation and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with other hotel departments.High standards of hygiene, safety, and operational discipline.Adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques and treatments.Your Day-to-Day:Perform massages and therapeutic treatments according to InterContinental Hotels Group international standards.Assess client needs and recommend suitable treatments.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the SPA area, equipment, and materials.Deliver personalized and professional guest experiences to ensure total satisfaction.Collaborate closely with the SPA team and other hotel departments to provide a seamless guest experience.Participate in training and workshops to continually update skills and techniques.Comply with all health, safety, and operational procedures of the hotel.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with luxury wellness programs or holistic therapies.Knowledge of current wellness trends.First Aid / CPR certification.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years proven practical experience in international-standard massages and therapeutic treatments.Preference for candidates with recognized technical certification in SPA or wellness therapies.Fluency in English (essential for serving international guests).Angolan nationals preferred; foreign therapists with residency permit are also eligible.Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.Commitment to quality, professionalism, and work ethics.At least 2 professional references with valid contact information.At IHG, represented here by InterContinental Luanda Miramar, we are committed to fair and inclusive recruitment practices.
