Special Education Tutor - Elementary (Math, Writing & SEL Support)

You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Los Angeles, CADetailsIn-Person Tutoring in Los Angeles, CASchedule: 10 hours, 1-2 sessions for 1hr to start then eventually increase Pay range is between $25 and $35Ideal Candidate Experience working with students with Autism or other learning differences at the early elementary level. Skilled in foundational math and writing instruction, as well as social-emotional learning strategies. Bubbly, patient, and encouraging, able to balance structure with creativity. Strong behavior-management skills, including the ability to redirect and maintain engagement. Knowledge of IEP goals and ability to adapt instruction to meet individualized needs.Key Responsibilities Support handwriting development and writing skills, focusing on language, conventions, organization, and traits. Reinforce reading comprehension and early literacy skills as needed. Promote social-emotional growth through SEL activities and structured guidance. Implement consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and gentle redirection to maintain focus and task completion. Incorporate the student’s interests, such as books and water-based activities, to increase engagement and motivation. Conduct ongoing informal assessments to monitor progress and guide instruction.
