Job Description

The small animal veterinary clinic Medi Vet, located in Lausanne, is the largest clinic in French-speaking Switzerland and is housed in superb facilities. The team is composed of several European and North American specialists, particularly in anesthesia, cardiology, surgery, dentistry, imaging, internal medicine, oncology, and ophthalmology. The clinic is both a referral center and an emergency center (24/7) and treats a large number of cases. Lausanne is a very attractive mid-sized city, notably due to its location between the Alps and Lake Geneva, and it is also very well connected to the rest of the world (train or plane via Geneva).The PositionThis internship/specialized assistant position is designed as a pathway to an ECVDI SA residency for the candidate who demonstrates the necessary skills, both interpersonal and clinical, and the required commitment. The selected candidate will join the service composed of an ECVDI diplomate, a PCSADI diplomate, and a veterinary intern/specialized assistant in imaging. The residency is developed in partnership with the radiology department of the Tierspital in Bern, which will provide part of the supervision for the future resident, particularly in MRI.
