Job Purpose:The Sustainability Specialist is responsible for driving the execution of sustainability initiatives to meet corporate environmental goals across properties and operations, ensuring alignment with sustainability targets and compliance requirements.This role collaborates closely with various functions to embed sustainable practices across operations, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensures compliance with sustainability-related standards. The position also oversees the corporate carbon inventory, aligns sustainability investments with performance objectives, and supports the company’s response to national and international benchmarks and sustainability disclosures.The position plays a crucial role in advancing the company's sustainability performance through data-driven tracking and operational improvements across the organization and its supply chain.Main Responsibilities:Environmental Initiatives ImplementationWork closely with relevant functions to implement applicable environmental practices in operations to achieve corporate targetsMonitor and track performance against environmental-related KPIs at property/sites/brand levelsCollect and track green CAPEX and OPEX outlays to align investment with performance targetsMaintain Corporate Carbon InventoryScope 1, 2, and 3Conduct sustainability survey at property/site levelConduct compliance against MINT’s sustainability requirements including but not limited to environmental, occupational health and safety, labor practices, supply chain, and biodiversity.Update on applicable environmental laws, regulations and standardsKeep up-to-date applicable environmental laws, regulations and standards to ensure company’s and its suppliers’ compliances and continual improvement against those laws, regulations and standardsResponse to national and international benchmark questionnairesSupport the sustainability-related disclosuresRespond to national and international questionnaires e.g. DJSI, CDP, FTSE4Good, MSCI, SET Sustainability Award, etc.to continually improve company performances on environmentQualifications:Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing)Good interpersonal skill and able to communicate to all levelsSelf-motivated, adaptable and able to work in high-demand situationsSelf-learning and eager to learn new thingsProven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environmentAbility to foster trust relationships with colleagues and stakeholdersSkill in networking with external stakeholdersEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environment, or related fields. Master’s Degree in related fields is a plus.Experience:1-3 year progressive experiences in engineering and environment implementation compliance and/or audits
