Job Description

Job Purpose To strategically develop and implement impactful external communication strategies that amplify Daman’s brand reputation, enhance media relations, and optimise social media presence while ensuring cohesive corporate messaging across all platforms. This role is essential for driving external communication initiatives, managing influential media interactions, and guaranteeing alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities:• Implement external communication plans to maintain and improve Daman’s brand reputation.• Enhance media engagement through press releases, media briefings, and interviews.• Manage the development of key corporate communication materials, including speeches, press kits, and reports.• Coordinate with internal teams to align external messaging with corporate objectives.• Lead content creation for public-facing materials, ensuring brand consistency.• Support the execution of public relations campaigns, sponsorships, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.• Monitor media coverage as well as Daman’s social media accounts and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.• Present insights and recommendations to senior management regarding external communication strategies.• Propose innovative storytelling approaches to strengthen audience engagement.• Manage relationships with PR and social media agencies, journalists, and external communication partners.• Coordinate events, conferences, and sponsorship activities to enhance corporate visibility.• Improve the effectiveness of external communication channels, including social media and digital platforms.Quality & Excellence Management:• Ensure external communications adhere to brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.• Implement quality control measures for all external communication materials, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of PR and social media campaigns using analytics and reporting tools.• Support the development of crisis communication protocols and response strategies.• Lead regular reviews of communication materials, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Qualifications and ExperiencePreferred Educational Qualifications and Professional Certifications• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.• Professional certifications in Public Relations (PR), Crisis Communication, Digital Marketing, or equivalent is advantageous.Experience • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, external affairs.
