What You’ll Do:Deliver effective speech-language pathology treatments to clients who can benefit from these services. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and prepare detailed reports with recommendations. Maintain accurate progress notes and professional records. Coordinate evaluation, scheduling, and treatment programs. Participate in staff meetings, in-service education, and community outreach. Uphold confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and UPMC’s Code of Conduct. Ensure all professional credentials and competencies are current (e.g., license, CPR, CEUs, TB test). ✅ What We’re Looking For:Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania. CPR certification and other required credentials. Education:Master’s degree (MS, MEd, or MA) in Speech-Language Pathology. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Pennsylvania Speech Pathologist License. Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility with active Clinical Fellowship year. Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (AHA standards). Act 34 Clearance. OAPSA Clearance. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong knowledge of normal human growth and development across the lifespan. Ability to read, understand, and interpret medical records. Skilled in planning, organization, delegation, problem-solving, and stress management. Strategic thinking and logical reasoning across diverse challenges. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to identify referral growth opportunities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with healthcare teams and leadership. Active participation in professional healthcare organizations preferred. Completion of all mandatory system, facility, and department-specific orientations and competencies.
