About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead multiple electrical construction projects focused on data centers. This role involves overseeing all aspects of project execution from planning through completion—while ensuring compliance with industry codes, safety regulations, and company standards. You will also play a key role in developing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities within a defined region or client base. Key Responsibilities: Direct the full lifecycle of electrical projects, ensuring delivery that exceeds client expectations and aligns with safety and regulatory requirements.
Set project goals, procedures, and performance benchmarks within corporate guidelines. Act as the company representative during project meetings and support labor negotiations and strategic planning. Manage contract finances, balancing company interests with maintaining strong client partnerships. Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure successful and timely completion of deliverables. Prepare takeoffs, change order pricing, and related project estimates. Collaborate with executive leadership to maintain accurate financial tracking and reporting. Qualifications: Minimum of 4+ years managing electrical construction projects ranging from $20M to $100M, with experience in mission-critical or ground-up data center builds strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred. Proven expertise in data center electrical systems; hyperscale data center experience is a plus. Possession of a Journeyman or Master-level Electrical License is highly desirable. Strong skills in electrical estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project management. Solid understanding of billing processes and financial reporting for projects. Familiarity with key industry vendors and procurement practices. Proficiency in software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, CX Alloy, BIM360, MS Project, and Primavera P6. Willingness to travel as required. Must successfully complete a post-offer background and motor vehicle record check.
