Ensuring mooring and unmooring of tankers at SPM.SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLEResponsibilitiesPolicies, Processes and ProceduresConduct day to day activities & follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent mannerKeep self abreast with leading practices & trends and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and proceduresBoarding Operations Ensure that pre-berthing checks of designated SPM are carried out by diving team as per check list and in order Secure and cast off pull back tug at SPM in consultation with pilot Moor and unmoor SPM tankers Connect and disconnect SPM hoses Carry out ship shore safety check list and periodic checks during cargo operation Monitor and reconcile hourly cargo figure Monitor SPM position Maintain effective communication between vessel, tug and shore Ensure compliance of crude oil washing requirement by crude vessel To assist in completion of cargo documentation Impart tool box talks to SPM hose crew Carry out bunker check of crafts Carry out inspection of support crafts Attend berthing and un-berthing of vessels and barges at LOLO jettySECTION IV: SUCCESS METRICSAccurate cargo measurementSafe operation at SPMSECTION V: OPERATING NETWORKInternal: Marine Operations Team, Health & Safety TeamExternal: Surveyors and Ship staffSECTION VI: KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIESEducation QualificationsA bachelor's degree or equivalentExperience (Must Have) Experience in underwater and offshore maintenance at SPM for at least 1 year& should be at least CD 2 diver as per IMCA standard or equivalent Indian Navy standardExperience (Good To Have)Functional / Behavioral competencies required to execute the roleFUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIESSECTION VII: CAREER MOVEMENTSFeeder Roles: NAPossible Next Role Movement: Marine Superintendent
