Sports Analyst

Gamdom is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trading Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our sportsbook operations. As a Trading Analyst, you will focus on real-time monitoring, data analysis, and reporting, enabling informed decision-making and risk management across our betting markets.key responsibilitiesdaily responsibilities:monitor betting activity in real-time through ticker systems to identify and flag dangerous patternsreport top event liabilities by the end of each shiftprovide detailed analysis and reporting on trading activity, including bet rejections and potential profit/loss impactsanalyze connected user accounts and their related betting activities, drafting detailed reports for senior managementweekly responsibilities:conduct analysis on user categorization and recommend individual measurespropose changes to users’ customer classification framework (ccf) based on insightsidentify and report on sports or league-specific trendsmonthly responsibilities:create comprehensive closing reports on overall sports and betting performancesummarize top user activity and provide actionable insightsad hoc responsibilities:serve as the point of contact (poc) for customer support queries via internal communication channelsdraft on-demand trading reports for individual users as requestedRequired Qualificationsexperience:previous experience in a sportsbook trading or similar role is highly desirablestrong understanding of sports and sports betting markets, including odds compilation, risk management, and market dynamicstechnical skills:familiarity with sportsbook trading platforms and systemsproficiency in data analysis tools (excel, python, r, sql); experience with statistical modeling is a plusanalytical abilities:strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to make quick, data-driven decisionsskilled in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasetscommunication skills:excellent written and verbal communication abilitiescapable of presenting complex data in a clear, actionable formatattention to detail:high accuracy and meticulous attention to detailability to meet deadlines and deliver timely reports within expected etasproblem-solving skills:proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions in a fast-paced environmentpreferred qualifications:experience with advanced trading tools and algorithmspassion for sports and a deep understanding of market trends and customer behaviorknowledge of machine learning or predictive modeling applied to sports betting markets is a plus
