ClareThe role of a Sports and Recreation Facilitator:The purpose of this position is to develop, implement and evaluate a community-based program of physical activity, recreation, leisure and health promotion for individuals supported by the Brothers of Charity Services Clare in accordance with company policies, procedures and guidelines. An integral part of the role will involve managing the Brothers of Charity Clare Special Olympics programme and maintaining links with the Special Olympics Munster office.The Sports and Recreation Facilitator will ensure the day-to-day management of the recreation and wellbeing programme reflects the ethos and vision of the Brothers of Charity Services, and will foster and promote this vision in their relationships with Individuals supported by the Service, their families, staff members, and the wider community.Qualification Required:Third level qualification in any of the following areas; (Minimum Diploma Level 7) Physical Education. Sport Science Recreation Management/Health and Leisure Studies Adapted Physical Activity.
