This role focuses almost entirely on the Spanish sports market, from major channels like LaLiga TV or Teledeporte to niche channels such as Gol Televisión.You'll be responsible for maintaining and expanding our sports database, ensuring that our clients and their viewers receive accurate, complete, and timely sports data. We're seeking someone who knows the market inside out, can anticipate competitions.This position is ideal for someone who loves sports, data, and precision, and who takes pride in delivering high-quality information that enhances the viewing experience.Key Tasks Research and create detailed data entries for sports events, tournaments, and leagues. Track programs and competitions on Spanish sports channels; create new entries in the database when needed. Collect and verify all relevant background information about sports events. Merge duplicate or identical programs to ensure clean datasets. Double-check your work to correct inconsistencies and errors. Ensure that clients receive complete, accurate, and timely sports data, twice error-checkedRequirementsDeep knowledge of the Spanish sports market, including major channels (LaLiga TV, Teledeporte) and niche channels (Gol Televisión). Solid understanding of sports competitions and ability to anticipate key events. Strong knowledge of Spanish sports (LaLiga, Copa del Rey, national competitions). Basic understanding of major international sports events (Tennis Grand Slams, NBA, Formula 1, NFL, Olympic Games, Tour de France). University degree in a relevant area (Sports Management, Journalism, Business, or Data). Exceptional written and spoken English. Spanish is a must. Highly structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable spotting errors. Proficient with databases, online research tools, and data handling. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Motivated to learn new tools and processes daily. Collaborative mindset — enjoys working in an international team.
