Job Description

Operational ManagementManage staffing, policies, procedures, and work planning for the operations team.Supervise cleaning, maintenance, recycling, & FM contracts during event and non-event periods.Oversee H&S protocols, customer service standards, and quality management systems.Manage cleaning stock control, including ordering supplies & ensuring COSHH compliance.Manage the venue’s merchandise, including ordering supplies and stock control.Maintain and update induction and training records for all staff.Act as the venue’s lead environmental champion.Programme DeliveryOversee and manage the implementation and smooth running of the venue’s point of sale activity, programming, ticketing, and booking systems.Liaise with relevant sporting and government statutory bodies on venue-related matters.Work with other venue managers to program, set up, and deliver the venue’s activities.Develop, liaise, and maintain positive relationships with all Modon staff.Health and SafetyEnsure the Venue’s and Modon's health & safety regulations are met by all employees.Monitor the health & safety compliance for contractors while working at the venue.Safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of staff, visitors, and contractors through the operations team.Conduct, maintain, and manage the reviews of the venue’s SOPs, EAPs & risk assessments and daily/weekly/monthly venue check sheets.Customer Service Team LeadershipEnsure a first-class service delivery through the customer services and operational team.Foster strong customer relationships with all venue staff and customers.Evaluate the operational team’s performance following the Modon processes.Staff Induction and TrainingOversee Modon corporate and venue-specific inductions tailored to all venue job roles.Maintain staff’s training matrix, ensuring employees receive internal and external training in a timely fashion.Ensure accurate training records for FM cleaning staff, including safety requirements.Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Facility Management, or related field.Related leisure, sporting, recreational, educational, or vocational qualification (Essential).IOSH Managing Safely (Desirable).CPR, AED, and First Aid certified (Desirable).Experience3+ years of experience in operations and/or event venue, ideally in sports.Strong knowledge of sports venue logistics and customer service standards.Sporting venues management & sports team operations.Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.Working with external contractors.
