You will also play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights using Power BI, enabling our teams to make data-driven decisions. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about data, has a strong technical background, and enjoys solving complex problems in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities within the team:Design & Maintain Databases: Develop and manage SQL databases to support our platformOptimize Queries: Write and fine-tune SQL queries for efficient data retrievalPower BI Reporting: Build and manage Power BI dashboards to provide data insightsEnsure Data Integrity: Safeguard data accuracy and security, with proper backup protocolsCollaborate with Teams: Work with developers to meet data needs and improve performanceMonitor & Troubleshoot: Oversee database performance and resolve issues quicklyAutomate Tasks: Create scripts to automate routine database processesDocument Processes: Keep detailed records of database configurations and operationsStay Updated: Continuously improve by learning and applying new database technologies.Job requirementsFacing the challenges of the role requires:Proficiency in SQL and experience with Sql Server, and/or PostgreSQL. Expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggersData Modeling, database design, and normalization techniquesHighly desired, but not mandatory experience in creating, managing, and optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports. Ability to connect, import, and transform data from various sources using Power BIExperience with database performance tuning, including indexing strategies, query optimization, and partitioningStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve database and reporting issuesExperience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools to manage data flow between systemsProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or BashUnderstanding of database security best practices, including user access control, encryption, and compliance with industry regulationsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present data insights clearlyA meticulous approach to work, especially when managing and organizing large datasets and building accurate reports.
