The Sr. Account Manager – Smart Cities will be responsible for driving sales and business development initiatives related to smart city solutions, including IoT, connected infrastructure, and urban technology innovations. This role involves engaging with cities officials, urban planners, and other key stakeholders to provide technology-based solutions that enhance urban living, increase efficiency, and promote sustainability.Sr. Account Manager - Smart Cities’ ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage potential clients, including government, public sector, municipalities, and urban development organizationsPromote and sell smart city technologies, including smart city platforms, IoT solutions, urban infrastructure software, smart grids, connected transportation, and sustainable city technologiesBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with city planners, municipal authorities, and other stakeholdersDevelop sales strategies tailored to the specific needs of the clientsUnderstand the challenges and goals of prospective clients related to energy efficiency, sustainability, mobility, and smart infrastructureProvide expert advice and demonstrations of how smart city solutions can address urban challenges such as traffic management, public safety, energy optimization, and environmental sustainabilityPrepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and sales pitches that are tailored to the specific needs of each clientEstablish strategic partnerships with key players in the smart city ecosystem to enhance solution offerings and competitive positioningMonitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in the smart city spaceConduct research to identify new market opportunities and potential clientsProvide feedback to product teams based on customer needs and market trendsLead negotiations with clients to close sales dealsPrepare contracts, pricing models, and bid documents for smart city projects and initiativesAchieve assigned sales targets Comply with Honeywell sales processes and policiesQualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, or any related field from a reputable universityMinimum of 8 years of related work experienceStrong experience and knowledge in Smart Cities Platforms and IoT SolutionsDeep understanding of software industry and projectsDeep knowledge and experience in Saudi marketProven track record in selling complex and mega projectsProficient in writing and presenting proposalRelevant experience in low current systems such as BMS, Access Control, Surveillance, Fire and Safety, and SCADA systems ..etc.Strong verbal and written communications skillsFluent in Arabic language including reading and writingWe valueIn-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products, and technologiesFamiliarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandatesAbility to achieve results through influence in a matrixed-team environmentAbility to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriersExperience in agile methodology framework, technologies, and toolsWe offer The opportunity to work on the world’s most exciting projects, transforming the cities we live in, the buildings where we work, and the vehicles that move us.Group medical insurance plan life.Paid annual leave and time off work.A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity and innovationMarket specific training and on-going personal development.If this is your dream role, then we'd love to hear from you.About UsHoneywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
