Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting the finance team in budgeting and audits. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. Support budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies. Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits. Review and improve accounting systems, controls, and procedures. Monitor cash flow, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules. Prepare tax returns, handle GST /TDS filings, and liaise with tax authorities as needed. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decisions Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA/CMA preferred). Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (SAP). Excellent Excel and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
