Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.The SR Air Freight Supervisor plans, directs and/or coordinates the operations of the facility with focus on ensuring exemplary client service, safety and quality standards. Duties and responsibilitiesinclude formulating policies and managing daily operations, and inventory integrity.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Operations ManagementDevelop and implement daily operational plans for logistics, client services, and data analytics.Monitor KPIs (on-time delivery, cost per shipment, revenue growth) and execute corrective actions.2. Financial OversightOwn budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.Prepare and present monthly and quarterly operational and financial reports to senior leadership.3. Team Leadership & HRRecruit, onboard, train, and mentor a high-performing team of operations and support staff.Conduct performance reviews, coach managers, and lead employee relations efforts.4. Compliance & SafetyEnsure strict adherence to corporate policies and government regulations (DOT, IATA, customs).Lead safety programs, risk assessments, and annual audits.5. Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal departments to drive process improvements.Safeguard company reputation by maintaining confidentiality and upholding core values.Core CompetenciesExceptional communication and relationship-building skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesThrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentSuperior organisational and multitasking capabilitiesExperience and Qualifications Required:Education: Bachelor's in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business, or equivalent experience4+ years of experience in operations or logistics management.2+ years experience in a Supervisor role.Regulatory Knowledge: DOT, IATA, customs, dangerous goods regulations, ISO standards, global trade complianceTechnical Proficiency: MS Office; ERP/TMS systems, Power BI, Tableau, data-driven decision tools
