Job SummarySr. Applications Project Manager, IS Hospital Information Services, Baptist Health Medical CenterAn Applications Project Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of business applications, clinical applications, and healthcare information systems projects. This position connects clinical and business teams with Information Technology teams, ensuring that technology solutions meet the needs of the healthcare system and ultimately improve patient care. By fostering connections with our team members and our community, we offer a fulfilling and personal career.The Sr.Applications Project Manager Will Be Responsible ForManaging all aspects of diverse IT projects or multiple IT projects from cradle to grave, typically involving various disciplines within the IT function and customer business units.Utilizing expertise and leadership skills to direct staff to resolve issues and ensure stakeholders, sponsors, and approving bodies meet project goals and requirements. Utilizing a mix of waterfall and agile/scrum techniques and tools are used for team collaboration, issue tracking, and delivery management. Requires working knowledge and experience within own job discipline. Works to broaden own capabilities by continuing to build knowledge of the organization, process, and customer and team relationships. Performs a range of assignments using guidelines and principles tailored to Baptist Health. Facilitating and tracking project and technical issues to resolution. Receives guidance and direction from more experienced team members.
