This will be achieved through the preparation of financial analyses related to the external competitive and market environment, as well as internal business issues that inform business unit decision-making. Additionally, the incumbent will actively participate in all activities concerning financial management and performance analysis of the business unit.Read further if you want to learn what the main responsibilities of the role areBusiness Strategy, Planning, Budgeting & Rolling ForecastsFacilitate the development of rolling forecasts and operational budgets, ensuring that strategic plans and key assumptions are integrated into the forecasts and budgetary inputs.Conduct analyses on volume and financial results in comparison to the budget and provide monthly updates on year-to-date and rolling forecast financials.Collaborate with Commercial Planning, Channel Development, Distribution, and B2B teams to offer financial analyses on commercial initiatives, generate scenarios, and recommend business decisions that align with organizational objectives.PricingPrepare and submit pricing committee approval submissions pertaining to proposed pricing initiatives.Oversee the end-to-end process for planned and pop-up price change decisions.Investigate new pricing opportunities and ensure the successful implementation of planned price changes.Controllable CostsAssist commercial teams in determining the return on investment for initiatives, guiding and supporting investment decisions, and establishing metrics and targets.Offer decision-making options that enhance business outcomes, grounded in clear commercial and other functional drivers.Contribute to the development of business and commercial scenarios with high-level financial impacts.Reporting And OthersEnsure the prompt and accurate preparation of reports on business performance.Provide support during corporate audits, guaranteeing that inquiries are addressed, and necessary supporting documentation is available.Fulfill any other ad-hoc requests or analyses as needed.What We Are Looking ForA University degree in quantitative fields such as Pure/Applied Sciences, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent is a prerequisite.5 to 8 years of experience in Finance or Planning roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of commercial planning concepts.Previous exposure to regional roles and experience collaborating with teams across different geographies.Excellent analytical skills and a mastery of conceptual thinking.An independent and agile learner, with strong action and result orientation.Strong sense of entrepreneurship and collaboration.Fluency in English is mandatory.One more thing: at Philip Morris we see equal pay for equal work between woman and men as the baseline standard for equality.
