You will work closely with our sellers to help them succeed on this new platform, and be responsible for delivering on achievable (but aggressive!) GMV targets, utilizing a budget to deliver to a specific revenue rate. You will be responsible for signing, negotiating, and advocating for your sellers, for understanding our platform and how it needs to change, for setting a strategy across all your categories and functions and helping us build a program that scales. You will lead a team of 4-6 category managers and a large cross functional team including BD, account management, programming and marketing.Visit https://www.ebay.com/ebaylive/ to sample past events and to see what’s coming up next!What You Will AccomplishDeliver an ambitious eBay Live GMV target for your assigned categoriesAct as the GM for your category on Live – building out our seller & event supply and coordinating cross functional teams to deliver success for those sellers & eventsSelect and onboard new sellers to eBay liveDefine criteria for selecting sellers to onboard to eBay Live, using pattern recognition, analytics, and merchant ‘gut’ to define who is most likely to succeed on the platformConduct BD activities alongside your BD partner - meet sellers, develop pitches, come up with creative ways to engage and contract with sellersHelp Sellers find success on eBay liveConvince sellers to invest time and resources in eBay live, and help them make that investment worthwhileContinuously run experiments to understand drivers of success on the eBay live platformCome up with innovative IRL and digital programming moments that bring new buyers to eBay Live and generate revenueEstablish playbooks for you and your extended team to coach your portfolio of sellers against across assortment, live host, production, selling formats, marketing, etc.Advocate for sellers with cross functional teams, come up with solutions to problems, seed new programs to help sellers be successful, lobby for them, and activate against themContinuously innovate and push the boundaries of what can be done to grow our businessHelp us scale eBay liveBuild a team of motivated, analytical, and goal-oriented category managers to deliver on our ambitious goalsDevelop scalable processes, tools, and models that help us grow this business What You Will BringBA/BS degree or equivalent, with 6+ years of relevant ecommerce experience working directly with sellers and retailers in the collectibles space, ideally across multiple collectible verticalsExperience and interest in Live selling formatsPeople management experience, with strong interest and aptitude in coaching and developing peopleProven track record leading multiple priorities simultaneously with minimum guidanceStrong project management, organization, and partner engagement skills, including multitasking to lead and execute projectsStrong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with sellers and internal team membersAbility and willingness to travel to meet in person with accounts (up to 15% of month)The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:$132,000 - $212,000Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
