Join us and we can make a difference together.Role PurposeThe Construction Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. This individual provides strategic direction, manages project teams, ensures compliance with industry standards, and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. This position typically operates in both office and field environments. The Construction Manager will be required to have a significant on-site presence, attend meetings with stakeholders, and travel as necessary. The role demands flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Role ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Set the vision and strategic plan for construction operations, aligning project goals with the organization's mission and business objectives.Project Oversight: Direct and supervise multiple project managers and construction teams, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage multimillion-dollar project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and monitor financial performance.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, regulatory agencies, and company executives, ensuring transparent and effective communication.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and minimizing project disruptions.Business Development: Participate in business development efforts, including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and relationship building with new and existing clients.Policy and Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve construction processes, adopt new technologies, and implement best practices for operational excellence.Required QualificationsAssociate’s degree in either Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Technical or Building Automation focused degree10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with significant leadership responsibility on large-scale projects.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field.Proven experience in sales within the commercial building and HVAC controls industry.Established network of industry contacts and relationships.Skilled in value engineering control system designs and proposing cost-effective alternatives.Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.Effective communicator across all levels of an organizationBenefitsEmployees are eligible for benefits, including:Health Care benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; wellness incentivesRetirement benefitsTime Off and Leave: Paid vacation days, up to 15 days; paid sick days, up to 5 days; paid personal leave, up to 5 days; paid holidays, up to 13 days; birth and adoption leave; parental leave; family and medical leave; bereavement leave; jury duty; military leave; purchased vacation Disability: Short-term and long-term disability Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Tax-Advantaged Accounts: Health Savings Account; Healthcare Spending Account; Dependent Care Spending Account Tuition Assistance To learn more about our benefits offering, please click here: Work With Us | Carrier Corporate The specific benefits available to any employee may vary depending on state and local laws and eligibility factors, such as date of hire and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is $178,750–$250,250.
