Sr Equities Operations Associate- Hedge Fund

An opportunity has risen with a leading, reputed buy side business who are seeking to expand their Middle Office Operations team in Hong Kong. The role requires the incumbent to have strong Equities Operations experience ideally from a buy side firm. Prior Investment banking middle office candidates will also be considered.Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:Take responsibility for the entire post trade life cycle including trade booking and any amendments/resolutionsBe the key liaison between the Trading desk and all other internal and external support/administrative teamsReview and validate daily reconciliations across internal systems and external counterparties. Ensure timely settlement of trades and resolve any discrepanciesHandle margin calls and collateral management in coordination with Treasury and prime brokers To be eligible for this role you will require:A relevant degree and at least 8-10 years of working experience ideally from the buy side or an investment bankStrong knowledge of equities products essentialA proven track record in post trade life cycle management is needed -from trade booking, settlements including corporate actions.Experience in working with prime brokers and fund administrators a strong advantageExcellent communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving skills is necessaryPlease email your CV directly in word format to devi@theedgepartnership.com.Please note that due to the high number of applications only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
