Manager, R&DJob Description / ResponsibilityFabric Development & InnovationResearch and develop new fabric constructions, blends, and finishes to meet customer and market demands.Evaluate new yarn types, fiber compositions, and sustainable materials.Plan and execute fabric trials with knitting/weaving, dyeing, and finishing teams.Ensure all new fabrics meet performance and quality parameters (GSM, shrinkage, colorfastness, hand feel, etc.).Garment R&D & Product DevelopmentCollaborate with design, merchandising, and sample departments to develop innovative garment samples.Experiment with different fabric combinations, trims, washes, and embellishment techniques.Provide technical guidance during pattern making, sewing, and finishing for new developments.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile EngineeringMaster of Science (MSc) in Textile EngineeringSkills Required: Garments Textile, Textile Processing, highly proactive, Problem solving and analytical skillExperience RequirementsAt least 3 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments,Textile,Group of CompaniesJob LocationGazipur (Tongi)
