Farhan Logistics International Ltd. is looking for Sr. Executive / Executive - Finance & AccountsJob Description / ResponsibilityAs a Senior Executive / Executive- Finance and Accounts, you`ll play a vital role in managing the financial health of our organization. Your core responsibilities will include:Oversee and manage all financial documents and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.Handle Incoming & Outgoing TT.Accurately process and record all financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and journal entries specific to freight forwarding operations.Handle freight billing, shipping cost verification, and invoice processing.Verify vendor bills (air/sea freight, transport charges) and ensure proper documentation.Track and reconcile freight-related expenses and revenue accurately.Prepare and submit periodic reports to Bangladesh Bank.Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing and timely payments. Handle accounts receivable, focusing on invoicing, collections, and maintaining customer ledgers.Prepare and assist in the preparation of various financial statements, reports, and summaries (e.g., balance sheets, income statements) for management review.Prepare necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits, ensuring a smooth process.Prepare and assist in preparing and filing tax returns (VAT, income tax, etc.) and ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations.Manage petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation.Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned by management to ensure efficient departmental operations.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in AccountingMaster of Business Administration (MBA) in AccountingBachelor/Master`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience Requirements1 to 2 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Freight forwardingAdditional RequirementsA minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in finance and accounting, preferably within the freight forwarding industry.Job LocationAnywhere in Bangladesh
