ScopeThe Senior Key Account Manager for Panamá has direct responsibility for key customer relationships and is also responsible for leading the sales team. This role will report directly to the Regional Business Manager. This individual will be accountable for achieving sales targets, maximizing and improving retail space and locations, and handling administrative duties of the position. This individual is responsible for maintaining and growing existing relationships with key retailers and partners.Duties & ResponsibilitiesExperience in sales forecasting and PSI managementRepresentative of Sales Team, helping to drive coordination with RBM and other areas. Needs to mentor and support the development of negotiation skills for the entire sales team. Sales point of contact with the rest of the departments, support in the generation of sales strategies together with the Regional Business ManagerDevelop long term relationships with the main accounts for the Panamá regionDevelop new relationships with non-traditional retailers, B2B or other channelsDevelopment of comprehensive retail activity and promotional calendars tailored to each retail accountMaximize the effectiveness of all vendor software and hardware launches by negotiating retail support at point of sale and across all applicable advertising vehiclesDetermine and guarantee placement of the appropriate product mix for each account, tailoring the mix to the strengths and characteristics of each retailerOngoing negotiation of additional floor and other retail space for displays, interactives and promotional materialsPlan and execute all product transitions and price adjustments across all retail accounts and stores simultaneouslyMaintain consistently healthy retail inventory levels to maximize sales opportunitiesDevelop and manage annual retail marketing and promotional budgetConduct weekly analysis of sell-thru, sell-in, inventories and other market/account data, and present strategic recommendations based on that analysisConduct weekly or bi-weekly face-to-face meetings with each retail/customer buyer to ensure maximization of salesDevelop annual sales budget by account by product, track and adjust monthly for 3 months in advanceBe aware of account performance, reviewing complete status in all departments on a weekly basis (Finance, Logistics, Accountability)Search and develop new business opportunities “out of the box”Develop and track trade marketing promoter’s sales targetEnsure partners follow sales guidelines such as street dateSkills & QualificationsUndergraduate degree in sales, marketing, or equivalent related experience5 or 6 years of experience in a retail sales roleExperience in consumer electronics or a related field2 years of experience leading a team with direct reportingGeneral knowledge of merchandising, branding, sales analysis, and retail advertisingSuperior written and verbal communication skills – must be able to convey information and ideas clearlyProven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholdersUnderstanding of P&L driversStrong analytical skills with a creative approach to idea generation and problem-solvingAbility to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environmentHighly developed negotiation and presentation skillsOrganized, resourceful, strategic, and results-orientedSelf-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, forward planner, team player, and able to work in an entrepreneurial environmentAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareAdvanced English skills, verbal and written
