Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager of Business Development with a strong background in SaaS sales, Upwork bidding, and local contract acquisition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth across international freelancing platforms and local markets.Key Responsibilities:Lead business development efforts for SaaS products and IT services.Manage and optimize Upwork and other freelancing platforms to generate consistent project leads.Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and RFP responses on Upwork and local procurement portals.Identify, evaluate, and pursue local government and private contracts.Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.Collaborate with the technical, marketing, and project teams to ensure proposal accuracy and project delivery.Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities.Track performance metrics, lead conversions, and maintain accurate sales records.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.2–5 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in SaaS or IT services.Strong experience with Upwork bidding, client communication, and project acquisition.Familiarity with local contract bidding and tender processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required).Strong negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.Ability to work independently with a results-oriented approach.Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and online collaboration platforms.Preferred:Experience with international clients and SaaS sales models.Understanding of digital marketing, software development, or tech project lifecycles.Compensation:Competitive salary plus performance-based incentives.
