We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Operational Excellence & Strategy to partner directly with our COO in scaling operations, embedding compliance-by-design processes, and driving organizational alignment.This role is ideal for a builder who thrives in startup environments: you’ll develop frameworks, stand up dashboards, streamline workflows, and ensure cross-functional teams stay accountable to strategic goals. You’ll act as the operational “glue” across Scientific Services, Member Navigation, Technology, Compliance, and Leadership — turning vision into measurable outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesFramework OwnershipImplement and manage Medzown’s Operational Excellence Framework across all domains (Scientific Services, Navigation, Compliance, Technology, Analytics, People & Culture).Partner with function leads to define, track, and deliver key metrics (KPIs).Strategic Alignment & ExecutionSupport the COO in aligning organizational initiatives with company strategy (e.g., trial enrollment, digital transformation, compliance modernization).Lead high-priority cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.Metrics & DashboardsDesign and maintain the Operational Excellence Dashboard, consolidating KPIs from all functions.Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on trends, risks, and bottlenecks.Operational ImprovementMap workflows and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and scalability.Partner with Tech to embed compliance-by-design into digital systems.Change Management & CultureDrive adoption of new processes and systems across teams through clear communication and training.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.Qualifications7–12 years of experience in operations, quality, business transformation, or strategy within healthcare, biotech, CRO, or health-tech.Strong background in quality assurance, process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent) and project/program management.Familiarity with clinical trials, precision medicine, or regulated healthcare environments is highly preferred.Proven track record of implementing cross-functional frameworks, dashboards, and governance models.Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.Success MetricsOperational Excellence Dashboard implemented and reviewed weekly with leadership.> 90% adoption of standardized metrics and processes across functions within the first 6 months.Reports per month goal met within the first 6 months.Demonstrated improvement in scalability without proportional headcount growth.Reduction in compliance risks and audit findings through embedded, digital-first processes.Positive stakeholder feedback (navigators, scientists, leadership) on cross-functional alignment.Location: RemoteReports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)Function: Operations & Strategy
