Sr Principal Software Engineer

At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.Cadence Design Systems is a world leader in providing computational software for all aspects of intelligent system design.The Circuit Simulation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining softwaredesigned to perform analog and RF circuit simulation.Candidate should have proven track-record on computer aided methods for numerical problem solving.RequirementsMSc/PhD in electrical engineering, applied mathematics/physics, computer science, or similar5+ years of work experience on numerical analysis on some related field (circuit, EM, thermal, fluid, photonics)Experience on algorithms related to e.g., sparse matrix solvers, iteration, optimization etc.Proficiency in C/C++ programming on Win and/or Linux environmentTeam player with good communication skillsExperience on parallel computing and/or GPU utilization as well as knowledge on circuit simulation (e.g., Spectre, HSpice, APLAC) is a strong plus.The engineer should have ability to work with an engineering and cross-functional team to deliver innovative technologies in a production environment.We’re doing work that matters.
