(Sr./Staff) Algorithm Engineer (Computer Vision)

OMNIVISION is a leading developer of advanced digital imaging solutions for a variety of industrial and consumer markets such as automotive, medical imaging, mobile devices, surveillance, AR/VR/drones/robotics, and notebook & entertainment.Position Overview:We are seeking an Algorithm Engineer to research and develop advanced computer vision and deep learning algorithms for imaging applications.Responsibilities:Research, develop, and optimize computer vision and deep learning algorithms for image applications such as object recognition, video analytics, and image enhancement.Design and implement new algorithms/features using deep learning for CMOS image sensors based on product requirements.Test, validate, and integrate algorithms into camera pipelines or embedded systems.Stay current with state-of-the-art research and propose innovative solutions for vision and image quality challenges.Experience & Skills:Ph.D. or M.S. (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computational Imaging, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.Broad knowledge of computer vision, deep learning, object recognition/tracking, or 3D reconstruction; experience with image sensors, ISP pipelines, color science, or image quality metrics is a plus.Proven experience in independent algorithm research; strong mathematical background preferred.Proficient in C/C++ and Python; familiar with deep learning frameworks.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
