OverviewAs a Sr. Technical Consultant, you will work with a broad range of customers in the MEA region you will provide vision and leadership while promoting the use of Esri technology to enable customer success. You will impact the development and growth of our technology into new domains by working closely with industry experts throughout the company.The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of Esri. We break ground in new markets, push the technology envelope and deliver transformational solutions to high profile clients worldwide. The Professional Services organization is comprised of nearly 1,000 talented business and technical professionals who strive every day to help our user be successful.ResponsibilitiesManage a complex and diverse technical scope of Professional Services engagements, projects, and programsCollaborate closely with clients to understand their geospatial needsProvide guidance on the right Esri technologies customers should use to address their business challengesDesign, Implement and configure solutions for Esri clients ensuring the highest quality of serviceConduct diagnosis and performance tuning of customer existing workflows and solutionsContribute proposals with technical vision and labor estimatesWork closely with the customer IT team to implement and deploy Esri systemsCollaborate with other Professional Services and Business Development teams to support the presales demonstration and technical discussionsAct as a resource for colleagues with less experience and other technical staffRequirements8+ years of professional experience in GISHands-on experience working with Esri softwareDemonstrated experience in platform architecture, solution design, project envisioning, planning, developing, and deploymentKnowledge of integration of other enterprise systemsKnowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts such as spatial analysis, map projections, and moreExperience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented architectureAbility to clearly communicate technical ideas to customers, executives, other technical staff or non-technical staffProven ability to design, implement, and/or administer enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage Esri software productsEvaluate and translate customer's business goals, objectives, and strategies into technical and creative plans and solutionsUnderstanding of IT concepts such as databases, networking, security, integration, and moreEngage, collaborate, and facilitate with customers, internal and external teams, and stakeholdersAssist in preparing proposals, including preparing solution definition, scope of services, staffing, and pricingBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related STEM fieldFluent in writing, reading and speaking in EnglishRecommended QualificationsKnowledge of and experience with software engineering and/or robust application development principles and practices.Proficiency in writing and speaking ArabicMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, or related fieldsAbout EsriAt Esri, diversity is more than just a word on a map.
