Job DescriptionJob Title: Sr. Water/Wastewater Project ManagerType: Direct HireWork Location: Hybrid position in Atlanta, GAJob OverviewOur client is currently searching for a Transmission and Utilities Senior Project Manager for water infrastructure projects in Atlanta or Duluth, Georgia. Typical projects include project management and technical oversight for studies, design, and construction phase services for water/sewer distribution/collection system piping and pump station projects with experience in design-build and collaborative project delivery.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesServe as senior project manager for water/sewer distribution/collection system piping, pump stations, and treatment plant projectsPlan, execute, monitor, control and close projects using earned value management principlesProvide supervision of multi-discipline teams of engineers, engineering technicians, GIS analysts, designers, CAD staff, sub-consultants, etc. Coordinate assigned work to ensure continuity, consistency, and quality.Design and review calculations of others and seal drawings and reportsAbility to work independently and mentor junior staffMaintain effective communication with client, client’s staff, regulatory agencies and within project teamsParticipate in business development activities including engineering scope and fee preparation, proposal preparation, and marketing activities. Also, interaction and a commitment to client service for both internal and external clients Required Skills & Experience15+ years’ experience in water/wastewater engineering and project managementBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)Georgia Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to become registered within 6 monthsDemonstrated technical proficiency in hydraulics, industry standards, etc.Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a project team and oversee excellent quality of workExcellent written and oral communication skills Big Points If You HaveExperience in design-build and collaborative project delivery Job Requisition # 39739#civilA reasonable estimate of the Salary for this role is up to $175,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
