Wastewater Project Manager

Position Overview: Job Workplace: Kigali, Rwanda As the Wastewater Project Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of wastewater treatment projects from initiation to completion. This role involves coordinating project teams, managing budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Your leadership will be crucial in driving project success, maintaining quality control, and fostering effective communication with all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage project plans, including scope of work, schedules, and resource allocationLead multi-disciplinary project teams comprised of engineers, environmental specialists, and construction managersMonitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay on trackServe as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycleEnsure compliance with technical specifications, standards, and safety regulationsConduct risks analysis and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risksPrepare detailed project reports and documentation for stakeholders, including budgets, forecasts, and progress updatesFacilitate project meetings and maintain open lines of communication with all project participantsDrive continuous improvement by staying informed about advancements in wastewater treatment technologies and practicesRequirementsQualifications:

More than 12 projects experience of wastewater treatment and sewer networkAt least a master's degree in civil engineering or construction management or sanitary engineering or environmental engineering or hydraulic engineering for each positionMinimum of 12 years of experience in project management related to wastewater treatment or environmental engineering projectsProven track record of successfully managing large-scale wastewater projectsStrong knowledge of wastewater policies, regulations, and best practicesExcellent leadership and team management skillsProficiency in project management software and toolsStrong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with stakeholdersValid driving licenseSkills:
