WasteWater Treatment Quality Manager

Position Overview: The job Workplace: Kigali, Rwanda The Wastewater Treatment Quality Manager will oversee and manage all quality assurance and control activities within the wastewater treatment operations. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices in wastewater treatment. The Quality Manager will also coordinate quality audits, monitor performance metrics, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system aligned with regulatory and industry standardsMonitor and assess wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulationsConduct regular audits and inspections of wastewater treatment facilities and processesLead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing non-compliance incidentsPrepare and maintain quality assurance documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and reportsProvide training and support to staff on quality management practices and proceduresCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actionsCommunicate effectively with regulatory agencies and stakeholders regarding quality and compliance mattersAdditional Responsibilities:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and technologies in the wastewater treatment sectorAnalyze quality data and prepare reports to support decision-making and regulatory complianceParticipate in project meetings and provide insights related to quality assurance and controlFacilitate continuous improvement programs to enhance the overall quality management frameworkRequirementsQualifications: Educational qualifications: At least aAt least a Master's degree in quality management or quality controlMinimum Years of Experience: At least 12 years of experience in quality management within the wastewater treatment or environmental sector.

More than 12 projects experience of wastewater treatment and sewer networkStrong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and regulatory requirementsProven experience in quality assurance, control, and compliance managementExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholdersProficiency in quality management systems and relevant software toolsSkills: Leadership skills to guide the quality assurance team and influence organizational improvementAbility to read and interpret wastewater treatment technical data and reportsDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safetyExperience in conducting audits and implementing corrective actionsKnowledge of statistical analysis and performance metrics related to quality controlCV Format:
