This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and innovative educator to lead academic excellence and drive pedagogical transformation in a forward-thinking learning environment. The Dean of Learning will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to support student learning and holistic growth.
Reporting to the Director of Teaching and Learning and working collaboratively with Heads of Department, this role will contribute to the design and implementation of strategic initiatives that enhance teaching, learning, and student outcomes. It will focus on evidence-based practices that respond to evolving educational and student needs. As a key member of the Senior School Leadership Team (SSLT), the Dean of Learning will lead strategic projects that harness emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence—to enhance academic outcomes and shape the future of learning at the College. Key responsibilities include: Leading the academic transition program for students entering Year 7.
Overseeing the subject selection process for students in Years 7–9. Managing academic operations and special projects that enrich the student learning experience. Promoting data-informed teaching practices to support student growth and achievement. This is a full-time, ongoing position, commencing at the beginning of Term IV, 2025 (13 October 2025), or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
