Development Officer

Are you passionate about building relationships and driving support for education? Are you skilled at connecting with donors to make a meaningful impact? We invite you to join our Advancement team at St. Ambrose University as a Development Officer. In this role you would be a key member of the annual giving team and strive to create personal relationships with an assigned portfolio of current and former donors. You would be using digital outreach methods and would be responsible for asking for renewed or increased support from the assigned portfolio.

Key Responsivities IncludeActively engage with members of the assigned portfolio, including: stewarding past giving, cultivating a relationship with the University, and making solicitations for renewed or increased gifts as needed. In collaboration with other staff members, identify currently unassigned donors and prospects who would benefit from a personal outreach. Serve as a key member of the team executing Advancement events. As needed, assists with corporate sponsorship solicitations related to various events and opportunities on campus. QualificationsMinimum of bachelor's DegreePrevious experience in annual giving, fundraising, or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Proficiency in fundraising databases and CRM software. Commitment to the mission and values of St. Ambrose University.
