This is the world of Smarter Freshness.What The Role DeliversA Staff Accountant is a cornerstone of financial operations, uniquely positioned to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of an organization’s financial data.Key Responsibilities In order of relative importance Book entries under US-Gaap and Local Gaap (various LATAM and other entities) Review of payment proposals Bank account reconciliation (Shadow/transitory SAP GL bank accounts) Account reconciliations in Blackline Review of Intercompany Reconciliation Ensure correctness of Accounts (Accrual, prepayments, GR/IR, VAT, Payroll) Ensure proper organization of archives of your area of operation VAT and WHT filings, EC-Listings, Intrastat for different entities in LATAM and other regionsWho to Work WithPrimary internal and external stakeholders Corporate Finance Sales, Customer Service OperationsHow We Work AgroFresh Core Competencies Accountability for Results Mindset for Growth Customer Centricity One AgroFresh Owns the TalentWhat The Job Requires Solid accounting experience, bachelor’s in business administration required.
