We believe accounting should be smart, strategic, and collaborative, and that our financial backbone is key to delivering unforgettable hospitality.What You'll Be DoingYour work will directly support our hotels and leadership teams in making informed decisions — and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes:Prepare and analyze monthly financial statementsReconcile general ledger and bank accounts for multiple propertiesFile monthly, quarterly, and annual sales/use tax returnsResearch and resolve discrepancies and support accounts receivablePost key journal entries (prepaids, accruals, reclasses)Collaborate across departments and support annual auditsGet involved in special projects that make a real impactKeep things organized, on time, and audit-ready – alwaysWhat You Bring To The TableBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance2+ years of accounting experience (bonus points for hotel or multi-entity work!)Sharp with numbers, but also a great communicatorProficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Experience with Sage Intacct is a major plusA proactive mindset and collaborative spiritIntegrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail – alwaysWhat’s in It for You?BenefitsAt Colwen, we take care of our people.
