Staff Accountant (part-time)

Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for someone looking for a stable, fulfilling environment where they can strengthen their accounting skills while working directly with leadership.This individual will work closely with the Assistant Controller and Controller, gaining exposure to all aspects of real estate accounting while contributing to the company’s continued growth and success.Key ResponsibilitiesWork alongside the Assistant Controller and Controller to support daily accounting operationsStrengthen the department’s ability to deliver accurate, timely financial informationProvide financial and administrative support to both property management and corporate teamsAssist with core accounting functions, including reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and reportingUtilize Excel and accounting systems to manage and analyze financial dataContribute to process improvements and special projects as neededIdeal Candidate ProfileBachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred) or equivalent experience2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; Full-Charge Bookkeeper backgrounds will be consideredReal estate industry experience a plus, but not requiredProficiency in Excel, including reconciliations and reporting functionsCollaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive mindsetAbility to work onsite at least 3 days per week in Downtown LAWhy This OpportunityJoin a supportive, outgoing team that values collaboration and positivityWork in a beautiful high-rise office with views of all Downtown LABe part of a culture that balances hard work with team connection (including regular team lunches)Opportunity to grow into a full-time role with career development
