The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and a detailed knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and Ind AS.The Staff Accountant should expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries, financial reports, spend management, financial analysis and other accounting activities.Strong candidates will be motivated team players who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking, as well as being collaborative, trustworthy, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn. This is a hybrid role with the ability to work from our office in Hyderabad.What You Will DoSupport the month-end and year-end close processes as part of a global accounting team.Record and maintain accurate and complete financial records in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS and Ind AS.Assist internal and external accounting teams with research, audit requests, tax filings and other statutory compliance needs.Operate at both a detailed and strategic level, handling day to day accounting entries, while contributing to analytical reviews and variance analysis.Review external spend and internal expense reimbursement requests.Coordinate with vendor AR teams and customer AP teams for onboarding and collections.Handle sensitive and confidential information with honesty and integrity.Work cross-functionally with departments outside of accounting to support the Company.Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and finance operations.Who You AreBS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with a concentration in Accounting preferredChartered Accountant (CA) - Fully qualified and registered with ICAI4+ years of accounting experience with multinational organizationsPrevious audit experience with a Big 4 or large mid-tier accounting firmProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelOur Values in ActionAt Sonatype, we believe that how we work is just as important as what we build.
