This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong business intuition to uncover insights that drive smarter marketing investments.You must have a strong understanding of incrementality measurement, A/B testing, attribution modeling, and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM). Your core responsibility is to dig into data, identify channel efficiency trends, automate the drill-down process and deliver actionable insights that help marketing leaders optimize spend and performance across channels.[Key Responsibilities]Analyze large-scale marketing data to uncover trends, diagnose performance shifts, and identify optimization opportunities.Provide strategic insights into channel efficiency, investment effectiveness, and incrementality signals.Partner closely with channel owners (e.g., affiliate, search, display) to translate data into actionable recommendations.Interpret results from experiments and attribution models and contextualize them for business decision-making.Build dashboards, reports, and deep-dive analyses using SQL and Python to support ongoing marketing strategy.[Qualifications]10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, decision science, or data science roles.Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python for data exploration, analysis, and visualization.Experience in data visualization tools, like Tableau.Strong conceptual understanding of incrementality, causal inference, attribution modeling, and MMM.Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Statistics, Data science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.[Preferred Skills]Familiarity with tools like Robyn or CausalImpact.Experience working with marketing platforms (e.g., Naver, Google Ads, Meta).Background in e-commerce or performance marketing environments.Experience collaborating with data science and experimentation teams.Office: Seoul, South Korea[Recruitment Process and Others]Recruitment ProcessApplication Review (영문지원서 필수)- Virtual Interview(including SQL&Python coding interview) – OfferThe exact nature of the recruitment process may vary according to the specific job and may be changed due to scheduling or other circumstances.Interview schedules and the results will be informed to the applicant via the e-mail address submitted at the application stage.Details to ConsiderThis job posting may be closed prior to the stated end date for application if all openings are filled.Coupang has the right to rescind an offer of employment if a candidate is found to have submitted false information as part of the application process.Coupang does not discriminate against disabled applicants or those with veteran status.
