Job OverviewTo work as a member of the multidisciplinary care team, providing and managing holistic care to people who have life limiting conditions.Based in our Fair Havens hospice, overlooking beautiful Priory Park, you will support our Adult In-Patient team, caring and supporting our patients.The shift patterns for this role is two long shifts per week, and there is a requirement to work day, night, weekend and bank holiday shifts, as per rostering requirements.We regret that we are unable to accept any applications from candidates who have not yet completed their nursing preceptorship.Main duties of the jobYou will be responsible for assessing and managing the needs of patients, undertaking the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, followingclearly defined policies, protocols, procedures, or codes of conduct.Working for our organisationAt Havens Hospices, we care for children, young people and adults with complex or incurable conditions. Person specificationSkills & ExperienceEssential criteriaExcellent standard of IT skills, including using Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook and Excel.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Sector ExperienceEssential criteriaFirst level Degree or Diploma in NursingCurrent registration with the NMCCompleted nursing preceptorshipDesirable criteriaExperience of working in the charity sector
